All accepted international students will be considered for a partial international scholarship at Clarkson. There is no separate application to complete to be considered for an international scholarship. These scholarships range from $5,000 to $30,000 per academic year. 工作机会

校园工作

There are limited work-study positions available for international students on campus. We cannot guarantee that you will be able to secure on-campus employment. 优先考虑的是美国.S. 公民和美国.S. permanent residents who are work-study eligible under federal guidelines. While there are some areas on campus that hire international students, our food service provider, 爱玛客, seems to be the best area to seek employment. The average student will work about eight to 10 hours per week. The pay is minimum wage ($9.70/hour until 12/31/17 and $10.40至12/31/18). Work-study earnings should be viewed as spending money and not as a source for greatly defraying the cost of attendance. Under the terms of the F-1 student visa, international students cannot work more than 20 hours per week on campus.

校外工作

Off-campus employment is only permissible with appropriate authorization under the regulations of the F-1 student visa. The International Students & Scholars Office will work with students who wish to pursue employment off campus either prior to or after completion of the degree program admitted to. Students in F-1 status are allowed 12 months of optional practical training before or after completion in work related to their major field of study and in certain circumstances, international students may be eligible for curricular practical training for required practical experiences.
